About the Show
Art is a result of how individual opinions transpire visually and tangibly. The result may be directed by predictability, or driven by curiousity. Whatever the case, the end product is a recording of one’s perspective..
Art is an ongoing conversation, the product is a documentation of an outlook, whether extremely obvious, or entirely vague.
Outlook is an art show about individual perspective. We hold tightly to our own frame of mind to make our individual lives seem unique. The fact that we all have different opinions is just an example of how we are all alike.

Raven Reda is a culture hustler; steadily working to grow the culture and collective of independent art in her community. She has a fashion line called DEMENTA, which she describes as “Versatile and edgy, yet chic. Part sexy-glam-rock meets sleek aficionado.” Raven Reda also functions as collective event producer/coordinator for various compendiums which include SWEATSHOP (annual event traditionally held on Labor Day weekend at Czar Vodka Bar in Ybor City), the Visionary Expo (a celebrity collective held annually in the garment district in Miami), and various others of the like.
His images and techniques resist the tendencies of the mechanical, and sometimes repetitive, nature of digital media. Brandon lives in Tampa, Florida where he received his Master’s degree in painting and printmaking from the University of South Florida. For several years he worked as a production assistant at USF’s Graphicstudio, working alongside many well known artists like James Rosenquist and Vik Muniz. In 2008 he branched out to pursue his own career and is currently creating new work for several upcoming exhibits. Brandon works as an illustrator-for-hire, creating numerous gigposters and band flyers as well as custom portraits. He also has products for sale at
Tony’s work is simply an outlet from digital life. As a web designer and hand-coding developer he is behind a computer typing, copying, and pasting for hours a day. Programming is just conceptual thoughts in the form of computed math; nothing of real matter. Creating tangible art not only leaves something behind in the world that isn’t going to instantly disappear when digital archival maintenance is exhausted, but provides a way to stay connected with the physics, and energy of real things. His latest interests are in marketing (the power of convincing), and the different ways in which art is used and defined in the world. Tony started a production collective in February of 2009 called
According to Angus, he's not an artist, but more of a dude who makes paintings from time to time. His works are usually illustrated metaphors, implied and literal. Sometimes pulled from songs, writings or everyday life events with the people he surrounds himself with. The works are made in a way to clear the mind from a day job that is full of lines, dead and guide, love it or hate it, just take a minute and think about it.
Jensen is a transplant from Jacksonville, new to Tampa, and newer to the art scene. He grew up in the music scene and is starting to form musical connections and bands here; including a solo project
Brandon McLean started making art after a blood clot bombarded the right side of his brain, resulting in a stroke back in May of 2000. A young man, a son, thinker, artist, covert achiever who is happy with his imaginary worlds, and minimal responsibilities, but feels the pressures of an objectionable world and the impossibilities of living up to what his father was. So he makes things up; a de-personalization from today.
